HERE FROM GLAMORAN Miss Clara Carpenter of Glamorgan, Va, formerly a teacher in Coudersport, is visiting friends and relatives in Coudersport. HOME FROM SOUTH J.M. Spafford and sister, Miss Mary Bird, returned Tuesday from Florida where they spent the winter. MET TRAGIC DEATH Mr & Mrs T.J. Carpenter and Miss Laura Vroman went to Driftwood on Friday to attend the funeral of five year old Marcellus Vroman, a nephew. The child fell into a vat while playing about the tannery of which his father is superintendent and died within two hours after being rescued. PURCHASES PROPERTY Commissioner Frank Lent has purchased the Jones house on the corner of West & Fourth streets and is making improvements about the same. HAS GOOD POSITION Miss Bertha Smith has a good position in the office of the glass company. CELEBRATED HIS BIRTHDAY Raymond Gordnier's Friends Surprise Him and Enjoy Pleasant Time. Last Saturday was his birthday anniversay; friends invited were Misses Lucile Wells, Etta Armstrong, Esther Stevens, Nellie Turck, Marion Horton, Ella Dean and Harold Grabe, Thomas Mulchay, Holly Lyon, Frank Haskell, and Howard Stokes. ATTENDED BROTHER'S FUNERAL Frank Deiter received word last Saturday evening of the death of his brother, Jesse Deiter at Texas, Tioga County. Monday morning Mr. Deiter and wife went to Texas to attend the funeral, returning home yesterday afternoon. Tioga County?
