Pa - The death of Miles O Harris occurred at his home recently following a short illness of grip and complications. Mr. Harris had been an invalid of the past three years following a fall in which he received a fractured hip. Mr. Harris who was 93 last November, was born in Steuben County N.Y., a son of James K. and Nancy Erwin Harris. He came to Potter County when a young man and engaged in farming in Sweden Township, which he continued as long as his health permitted. Surviving are his widow, the former Cora Baker, and five children; James M., William A., Wilber T., Mrs. W.S. Gates and Mrs. Carl Elliot, all of whom reside in Coudersport except Mrs. Gates, who moved several years ago to Portville N.Y. Surviving also are seven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
