Rt Bosworth, 64, of Eldred RD 1 died unexpectedly Thursday (Aug 10, 1972) in Olean General Hospital.
Mr. Bosworth was born Jan. 2, 1908 in Millport, a son of Fred and Ena (sic) Austin Bosworth. He was married to the former Beverly Kaake, who survives.
He was a retired mechanic of the Pittsburgh Corning Corp., and a member of the Loyal Order Moose No. 406, Port Allegany.
Besides his widow, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jerry Taylor, Pittsburgh, and Miss Kamella Ann Bosworth, at home; six sons, Eugene, Richard, Gerald, Leonard and Homer Bosworth, all of Port Allegany, and Ralph Terry Bosworth, at home; two stepdaughters, Miss Kimberly Babola and Miss Peggy Babola, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Devlin and Mrs. Ona Calahan, both of Bradford; Mrs. Delilah Pepperman, Eldred, and Mrs. Selma Simpkins, Florida; 22 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany, where a funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. David M. Davis, Pastor of Eldred United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the Bells Run Cemetery.
