Daughter of C. Jay and H. Beryl Arnett Gooch, she was born on Ford Hill, Allegany Township, and graduated from Coudersport High School in 1944. She married Leonard Kenyon on August 11, 1945. Since 1997, their son Kent has continued the dairy business.
An active life-long member of Hebron Seventh Day Baptist Church, she supported her husband by being very involved in dairy farming duties.
