While living in Eaton, he married Louisa Brigham. Her parents, Phineas and Susanna Howe Brigham, had moved their family to Eaton (from MA) at about the same time that John and Lydia Jackson Knickerbocker had moved their family to Eaton (from CT). Harry and Louisa founded the Cincinnatus Knickerbocker farm. (Harry\'s father John joined them later.) Their four children: Amelia (who married William Holroyd, and later moved to Wyanet, IL); Louisa (who married Zira Parce and moved to Pitcher, NY); Franklyn Fitch (FF, who married Huldah Eldridge and then Mary Connover, and later moved to Orleans, NY); and Henry (who married Helen Bourne and remained on the family farm). The first three children were apparently born in Eaton. Henry was born in Cincinnatus. After Louisa died, Harry married Climena Lotridge of Cincinnatus. Harry died soon thereafter. Climena lived most of her life as a widow, with Lotridge relatives. Harry is buried between Louisa and John. His headstone is the only one standing. Harry\'s birthdate is from DAR records.
