I think you will find that the parents of Miriam Joy Reed were Burton Owen Reed and Etha Maude Gilger. Burt married 2) Esther Gleason. This REED family goes back to Matthias Reed b in Sandgate, Bennington, Vermont, in 1793.

All of these families intermarried a lot and lived in Borie - Reed, Watson, Jackson, Haskins, etc. etc.

Thank you.
I never knew I had relatives in Borie, however distant.

Kay, I came across Miriam again while doing some touch-up on my Tree file and I found her with Frank as father, not the correction you volunteered 2 years ago(!) I thought I'd taken care of that but I am doing that now. Funny though, a Miriam Reed in York, PA also born in 1906. Well, lots of people, not that uncommon a coincidence, I guess.
So, I just wanted to thank you again for helping me correct this mistake, despite me, apparently :O)
