My grandfather was Leander Varney. His sister was Melda Varney Wetzel. I have a worn picture of her when she was a young woman. I corresponded with her in the late 70's and early 80's. She sent me a picture of her and her husband. He was in a wheelchair, Maybe in a nursing home? What relation was Melda to you? I think that makes us cousins since you are a Wetzel also.
