· In this 1910 family portrait, Sailor McCoy (1874-1948) is shown with wife, Emma "Emily" Buskirk McCoy (1886–1949), along with five of their beloved children. Sailor is holding daughter, Nollis. At left is daughter Mattie, son William A. McCoy, and daughters Sallie and Nell.
Sailor and Emily married in 1902.

Their children included Sallie McCoy (1903–1918); Mattie Ruth "Matt" McCoy Allara (1904–1997); Nell McCoy Slate (1906–1988); William A. McCoy (1907–1986); Nollis McCoy (1910 – unknown); Josephine "Josie" McCoy (1911–1980); John Laidley McCoy (1913–1989); and Robert Ward "Bob" McCoy Sr (1915–1976).
Sailor (1874-1948) and Emily (1886–1949) were both eventually buried in the Blackberry City Cemetery, Blackberry City, Mingo County, WV. See less
