Have you ever heard the story of Ann Foster?
This elderly widow was around 75 years old and very frail when she was accused of witchcraft in 1692. Following her arrest, she was interrogated by the magistrates four times over the span of just one a week. Both her daughter and granddaughter soon joined her in prison, each offering a confession which implicated the family matriarch.
The North Andover Historical Society is hosting a screening of "I Be a Witch: The Story of Ann Foster" this Sunday. This emotional depiction of Ann Foster's story is an incredible look into the experience of this tragic victim of the Salem witch trials.

I just found out doing genealogy that she was my 11th great grandmother. Wonder if there is a transcript of this?
