Andrew Foster immigrated to America in 1636. His parents were Andrew Foster Sr. and Margery Elliott from Suffolk England.

Andrew married Ann Alcock. Ann was one of the first women accused of witchcraft in Salem Mass. She was sentenced to death but died prior to her execution. Andrew and Ann had 5 children.
