D. G. Duty; Owned Ice, Oil Firms
Dorsey Gale Duty, 78, owner and manager of 'the Duty Ice Company and the Duty Oil Company at 708 S. High st., died today at this home, 290 Lockwood st.
Born in Deep Valley, W.Va., Mr. Duty came to Akron 30 years ago and established his two businesses.
HE LEAVES wife, son Russell H. of Copley; daughter Mrs. Gertrude Walczuk of Navarre; brothers John of California and Dow of West Virginia; five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Schermesser funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale cemetery. Friends may call 7 to 9 p. m. Friday at the funeral home..
