Mrs. Mary Duty, wite of A. W. Duty died Jany. 12, 1904. She was born in Tyler county. Va., now W. Va., Oct. 11, 1835 She was married three times, first to Peter Smith. Unto them was born two children, Walter and Laura, Smith baving died in 62 or 3 She was married to John Cumerine next, and unto them was born one child Eva, who survives her mother. After the death of Cumerine, she married A. W. Duty, who bad also buried two of his companions, so he is left thrice a widower. She was a member of the U.B. church for over 50 years.
The funeral services| were conducted by Revs David, Presiding Elder of the U B church, Bauman and Waters, of the same church and Strader, of the M. E. church..
