• JOHN H. GRAVES DEAD
The following is from the Wellsville Reporter concerning the passing of a man well known to many people in the Northern part of Potter county:
John H. Graves, a respected resident of Willing Township, died at the home of his daughter on Beach Hill, at 2:30 a, m., December 23rd, 1922.
Deceased was born March 28th, 1844, in Willing Township. He a son of Abner Graves and Mary Ann Winn Graves. His wife, formerly Esther Berry, died 17 years ago. He is survived by two sons and one daughter, Louis Graves of Atlanta, N. Y., Lute Graves of Independence, and Mrs. Frank Cornelius. Also by the following brothers and sisters:
Willard Graves of Willing,
Mrs. Angelina Cutler of Horne!l;
Mrs. Marie Canfield of Willing;
Martin Graves of Willing.
Funeral service will be held at the M. E. church at Shongo, at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, the Rev. Tubbs, officiating.
