Seth Williams, 81 of Willamsport, died on Thursday morning at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bailey, South Williamsport, where he had been making his home for the past six years. Ill for about one week, he died at 2:30 a.m. on May 9.
Born at Logue, Pa., he was the son of Mose and Mary Jones Williams. He married Eva Barber, July 3, 1906 at Olean, N.Y., and after they made their home in the East Fork. He was a former resident of Gaffney, Galeton, and Morris, Pa. His wife preceeded him in eath in 1956 as did two daughters.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Anna Cooney, Austin; Mrs. Harry (Mary) Bailey, Williamsport; Mrs. Lloyd (Linnea) Vroman, Costello; Mrs. Leva Price, Spencerport, N.Y.; Mrs. Francis (Inez) Tarsvowitz, Antrim, Pa.
Other survivors include 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two sister, Mrs. Mina Nelson, Dubois, and Mrs. Oscar (Bertha) Berglund, East Fork, and a brother Roy Williams of Westfield.
