ALLEGANY
Allegany, June 9 -- Mrs Henry Gerringer of Day street entertained at 4 o'clock dinner Monday evening in compliment to her sister, Miss Celia Smith. Covers were laid for twelve at a table handsomely decorated with a large basket of pink and white roses, while ropes of smilax were suspended from the dome to the corners of the table.
Following the first course, little Elizabeth Nenno entered dressed as a bride and presented each guest with handpainted cards tied with white carnations containing the names of Miss Smith and Clarence Henneman.
The out of town grestsw present were Mrs. Matin Ruth and Mrs George Derby of Olean.
