FATHER KILLED AND
SON INJURED WHEN
TRAIN STRIKES TRUCK
AP)- A father was killed and his son injured when their light truck was struck by a Chicago and Northwestern railroad motor ar shortly before noon today near Pulaski in Shawano county.
The victims are:
Joseph Socha, 50, Kosciusko farmer, fractured skull; died on way to hospital.
Casimire Socha, 23, two fractured ribs, possible internal injuries; St. Vincent's hospital.
The accident occurred as the motor car train, No 517, was on its way to Gillett. The Socha car was struck at a crossing and thrown into a ditch. The victims were picked up by Stanley Brudnick, Sobiestki and taken to Pulaski and then to a Green Bay hospital, where the elder Socha was found dead upon his arriaval. The son is expected to recover.
