Jo Gail (Varney) Kelly, wife of Fred Ross Kelly, died Saturday March 1, 1986 in St. Joseph Hospital after a long illness. A lifelong resident of Fayette County, she was the daughter of the late James A Varney Sr. and Louise N (Howard) Varney of Lexington. She was a member of Rosemont Baptist Church and attended St. Joseph School of Nursing and the University of Kentucky. Besides her Mother and Husband, she was survived by her son Bradford Stephen Kelly, her daughter Shannon Ross Kelly; two sisters Janice Ann McIntyre and Sandra Lloyd both of Lexington and one brother James A Varney Jr of Whitehouse, TN. Funeral at 11:30 AM Tuesday March 4th at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home by the Rev. Jerome Browne. Visitation from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Sunday March 2nd and Monday March 3rd. Burial is at Lexington Cemetery.
