Investigation Completed By State Police In Dec. 19 Mishap
As the result of continued investigation by Coudersport-based state police, charges were filed against a Bolivar, N.Y., man this week stemming from a Dec. 19 accident near Shinglehouse.
Harland Stives, 24, was charged with driving without an operator's license and without the consent of the vehicle's owner, Frederick Murray of R.D. 1, Shinglehouse. He ran 'the Murray vehicle off the left-hand side of the Wildcat Road (Rt. 372) into a bank 4.2 miles east of Shinglehouse, damaging it an estimated $75.00.
The charges were filed with Justice Roy M. Babcock, Shinglehouse, after Stives was brought back into the state of Pennsylvania.
