HAXTON FACING
SERIOUS CHARGE.
Unable to seure $1,500 bail, Ulysses man being held in county jail.
Elmer Haxton, Ulysses Twp, was lodged in the county jail Thursday after a hearing before Justice Fred Clark, at Gold. The man is charged with intimacy with his own 12-year-old daughter. If the charge is proven against him there is o question but what he faces a long term in prison.
The June term of court will have this case and two others of a like nature to dal with. Basil Guild of Galeton and Walter Lattin, of Coudersport, face similar charges.
