Born in Rhode Island, November 11, 1816;
Died at Sparta, Wisconsin, November 10, 1871.
Was Principal of the Coudersport Academy for October 19, 1853 to December 3, 1855.
He taught in a large school in Penn Yan, with sveral assistants in 1842 where he was said to be "a scholar and a ripe and a good one."
Was Principal of the High School in Sparat (Sparta), Wisconsin for many years.
