Shirley Pierce, a founding Director of PA-Roots passed away on 6 February 2010 following a valiant fight with cancer. Shirley was very active providing resources for Clearfield, Elk and Jefferson counties in Pennsylvania.
Shirley Jean Pierce, 58, Fern Hollow Lane, Brookville, died Saturday at Brookville Hospital.
Born June 4, 1951 in Brookville, she was a daughter of the late Charles Edward and Betty Allen Zipfel of Shinglehouse. She was married to William K. Pierce Sr. on April 2, 1971 in Coudersport. He survives.
