Hi John, I was somewhat surprised to see pictures of James Harper McDonald and the Squalus. He was my great uncle by marriage and had a very interesting in the Navy. My father was career military and when Uncle Mac died, Aunt Vera gave Dad Mac's Medal of Honor. I have just had it reframed this week. I thought you might be interested in seeing it.

Thank you so much! I went to your Tree and saw your photos, downloaded a couple for my FTM Tree. I especially appreciate the photo with text regarding the medal and the medal itself. It won't show I downloaded on the site because I don't sync my on-line tree, so it will show up in my next Tree upload.
