SHEANA MOSCH - PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL
“Ever since Sheana was a little kid, all she wanted to do was play basketball. As a very determined individual, anytime she set her mind on something she would never stop until she had gotten it. If she saw someone throw a fancy pass or make a dribble move she couldn’t do, she would immediately go outside and work on it until she could do it too. You would never find Sheana without her ball because she felt such a need to continue improving! She would dribble hours and hours morning and night, sometimes taking her ball with her into the movie theater, and always sleeping with it at night. Nothing would stop her from becoming the best she could be.
By the time Sheana graduated from DuBois Central Christian High School, she had scored 3,066 points, was named Pennsylvania Player of the Year, a High School All American, and won a bronze medal with the US National Team. She continued with her dreams beyond high school by becoming a Duke Blue Devil. She ended her Duke career scoring over 1000 points, winning 4 ACC championships, and leading her team as captain to 2 Final Four appearances. Sheana continued her great love for the game by playing 11 years professionally in the best leagues in Europe in teams from Turkey, France, Russia, Israel, and Spain. She was often at the top of scoring leaders and was named to various All Star teams, most notably being named a Euroleague All Star along side such basketball Olympians as Diana Taurasi, Sue Bird, Sylvia Fowles, and Becky Hammon.
Sheana has officially retired from playing and now spends her time teaching the game she loves. Her passion for spreading her knowledge and experience has reached players from all over the world. Her highly successful camps and clinics have inspired many players (whether first time ballers or WNBA athletes) to push themselves to do everything they can to reach their dreams.”
