Death of an Old Citizen.
-Jacob Hammersley of Hammersley's Fork, died at his residence at that place on the 4th of February, at the advanced age of ninety-five years. Mr. H. last summer was seen in a field ploughing with a yoke of oxen, looking more vigorous and better able to work than many men not half his age. He settled on Kettle Creek more than fifty years ago. He never saw a railroad or locomotive. He was a good citizen and will be mourned by numerous friends.-Clinton Republican
