Linda Appleby Berko we're heading to Gettysburgh this week. I plan on finding out more about Thomas Appleby, his name is on the Civil War monument at Bolivar cemetery.

I remember Dad talking about Thomas and that he died there of Rickets. Said that when his body was returned to family his body showed signs of the bed slats on his back because he was so emancipated.
