EAST HEBRON
The sad news has reached her that Mrs. Rose Spafford is dead. She will be remembered as Rose Langdon, having taught school here about five years ago. She was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Vene Langdon of Whitesville.
They have got the tools loose on the Davis well and have commenced drilling again .
Mrs. Nettie Simons and Etta Miller were guests of Newton Wood last Friday.
Mrs. John Clair, who has been helping to care of her sister, Miss Rhoda Goodnoe has returned home.
Mrs. Develing and Mrs. Cora Ball were guests of Mrs. Thomas Conlogue one day last week.
The death angel entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Woodard took their eight years old daughter, Marion after only a few days' sickness with grip.
The Ladies' Aid will meet next Wednesday. All cordially invited.
