'BIRTHDAY PARTY Mrs. Isaac Mitchell of Inez was most delightfully surprised by her relatives and friends to the number of 100, Tuesday evening, the occasion being the celebration of her 72nd birthday. All came laden with good things to eat and beautiful gifts. A fine dinner was served. Mrs. Mitchell received many happy greetings and congratulations for the day. Mrs. George Mitchell presented Mrs. Mitchell with a large birthday cake illuminated with 72 candles.'

I searched newspapers.com to see if I could find a clipping for this reunion. I searched The Potter Enterprise one year at a time for 1925 to 1935. There were many clips about people entertaining other people at dinner and for other events, but it seems to me that the attached clip is a good candidate. (I certainly could have missed something.)
Please note: I am not getting paid to plug newspapers.com, although I might see if I can earn some cash doing this. (Just kidding.) I know promos are popping up on Facebook.
