Mrs. Marcella Eaton
Ulysses, April 14. --- Mrs. Marcella Eaton died at her home in Ulysses early Tuesday morning following an Illness of a week.
She was born near Bath May 24, 1843, one of a family of 13 children.
She married, October 1868, Dr. E. U. Eaton of Ulysses, and had spent her entire married life in this place.
She united with the Seven Iay Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters,
- Mrs. Carrie Gamble, Alfred:
- Mrs. H.L. Jones. Ulysses;
two half-sisters,
- Mrs. Catherine Ford of Chicago and
- Mrs. Jean Gray of Buchannan. Mich.;
- one brother, T. G. Crandall of Glendora, Mich.;
five grandchildren.
The funeral was held at her home on Main Street Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. N. Johnstone of the Baptist Church officiating.
Burial was in the Ulysses Cemetery.
