Bradford, Pa., Feb. 26. Arch Turner, who a few days ago shot and killed Edward Ralph while the men were in a lumber camp, today in criminal court at Smethport pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter. Turner was sentenced to serve not more than seven nor less than six years in the Western penitentiary by Judge A. S. Heck of Potter County who is presiding over the McKean county courts this week for Judge J. W. Bouton who is in Florida.
INJURED AT EMPORIUM.
Last Thursday Eugene Burt was injured while at his work on the building of the Aetna Plant at Emporium. He was working on a scaffold and the workman above acci-dently dropped his wrench, which hit Mr. Burt in the head cutting it so severely that 13 stitches had to be taken. He is getting along good.
