my 2x gr Grandfather fought during the Civil War.company H 105th Wild Cats infantry.
He fought at Fair Oaks, and Malvern Hill.
Was taken prisoner at Bull Run, released and fought in the battles of Chansellorsville and Gettysburg, where he lost his left arm and was medically discharged Oct 12, 1863

Since he was wounded at Gettysburg, his name, along with those of his regiment who were wounded or killed, is on a pillar in one of the battle fields.

I forgot to mention his name was Jacob FAUST. Jacob lived in McKean County for a short time, with his daughter, my gr grandmother

This is my 2nd Great Grandfather Jacob Foust. He was My Great Grandmother Crispins Father. this is his Civil War Military picture from Company H 105th Infantry, the Wild Cat Regiment.
