Amputation Necessary in Case of Otis Bulson, Hurt at Dewitt.

Otis Bulson, a yard brakeman in the EMPLOY of the New York Central Railroad in the yards at Dewitt, was taken to St. Josephs Hospital at 8 o'clock yesterday morning with his left arm crushed to the shoulder. Surgeons found amputation necessary about five inches from the shoulder.
Shortly after 7 o'clock in the morning Bulson had his arm caught between the bumpers of two freight cars as he attempted to make a coupling. He was placed in a caboose and hurried to this city. An ambulance awaited his arirval and took him to the Hospital. He suffered greatly from shock and the loss of blood, but his recovery is expected. Bulson is 42 years old, married, and boards at the Grand Union Hotel, East Syracuse.
