Please be advised that effective 07/11/2011 Roulette Township Supervisor, Gary R. Fessenden, resigned his position as elected township supervisor.
At the regular monthly meeting held at the township office last night, by motion and unanimous vote, Harold “Ray” Howard, Jr. has been appointed to fill the vacancy for the remainder of Mr. Fessenden’s term ending December 31, 2011. Mr. Howard was in attendance at the meeting and graciously accepted the appointment.

Sincerely,

This is an example of why Roulette needs a cop, to keep the supervisors out of trouble.

Not a fan of Gary, but this display by Solomon's Words was uncalled for. I realize he is a "public figure" but come on now. If it had been a Portage, Keating or Genessee Twp. supervisor, would you have posted a photo? Got a bone to pick with Gary???

To the poster at - 10:07:00 AM EDT, understand he is an elected official, and in spite of your reasons to cover up his malfeasance, he in effect works for us the taxpayers. So at least in the eyes of the police in the area he is not above the law like some of our holier-than-thou elected officials in Washington or the state capitol. 'nuff said.

Any newspaper or tv news show would have posted a picture. DUI is a serious crime no matter who commits it. It is a MAJOR problem in this area. When you drive drunk, or even just buzzed, your no only risking your own life, but everyone elses. Drunk drivers hit other cars, people, and houses all the time and unfortunatly kill people. You never think that you will hurt anyone and just think i havent had too much or i can still drive. Next time think about the van full of children you may hit and kill on your drive home and maybe then you will get a d.d. As for Frssenden, he is also charged with resisting arrest, which means he tried to use force to escape the officer. Exactly the sort of person that should hold a public position. This guy deserves to sit in jail for putting our families lives at risk and putting the officer at risk for keeping us safe from his driving.

Regardless of who you are, if a picture is going to be posted for DUI then it should ALL DUI offenders. Not just this one because he is an elected official.

Totally agree all D.U.I.'s should have their pic's posted, but espically the molesters. Put them right out there for all to see.

"Not just this one because he is an elected official."
I disagree. Elected officials should be held to a higher standard. Just goes with the territory.

Well to add my few words, people need to get over it. This Blog is Biased, Jim only posts what he wants to post to attract attention. I have commented on many different posts even relating to child molesters, and they do not get posted. I think Jim like other Potter County people pick and choose who they want to report on. Not what everyone wants to read.

I thought Jim Jones had balls! Nope, appears to be totally ball less. Less balls? Dead people, drunk people, choice elected people - bunch of snot as far as I'm concerned. Your right - this is Jim's sandbox - if you do not play his way - hell, you just don't play at all.

Never a picture of Randy Cornelious, as a matter a fact you couldn.'t leave a comment on his last write up you did on him, tell me, how many times has Mr. Fesseenden been in trouble, seems like different standards.

I'm sure Jim doesn't just happen to have file photos of every criminal. But I can understand with this being a public figure how he would have a photo to post. Use common sense people!

WELL I AM SURE IF JIM HAD A PICTURE OF YOU AND YOU COMMITED A CRIME YOU WOULD HAVE YOUR PICTURE POSTED ON HERE ALSO.. ITS REALLY DOESN'T MATTER IF THERE IS A DAMN PICTURE OR NOT .. THIS IS NOT HIS FIRST TIME BEING IN THIS SITUATION. SO YOU REALLY SHOULD BE MORE WORRIED ABOUT THAT FACT THAT HE COULD HAVE KILLED SOMEONE DRIVING UNDER WHILE INTOXICATED..JUST BE THANKFUL HE WAS STOPPED BEFORE ANYONE OR HIMSELF COULD BE HURT...
MAYBE ITS TIME TO GET SOME HELP FOR HIM.. IF HE WANTS HELP.

Well to defend Jim.Was he the one that submitted the picture ??? But who care he is guilty.Everything thing goes back to what your parents should have taught you when you where a kid going to play with fire going to get burned .BINGO Maybe if this happened more Potter County would have less DUI/DWI

Not in defense of your DUI. People soon forget what good a person does, but make a mistake and all the unblemished souls have a great time trashing us. You are one of the most respectable people I have had the honor to have met. You once told me before I moved away from Potter County that I would be back. Looking at some of these comments reminds me of one of the reasons I left. Rick Bauer
