Obituaries
Susan M. Sweet
Mrs. Susan M. Sweet died at her residence, after a long illness, Friday, Sept. 19th, aged 72 years and about 4 months. Mrs. Sweet was the daughter of Luke Maxson, well known many years ago as a resident of this town. Her husband, Spencer Sweet, died only about a year and a half ago, since which time she has lived alone. She leaves three daughters, two of whom live in this town,
- Mrs. Jarvis S. Kenyon and
- Mrs. Wm. R. Barber and
the third,
- Laura, in Illinois.
Mrs Sweet was a good mother, ...
Her funeral was held at the house, Sabbath afternoon, the 20th, Rev. W.C. Titsworth reading the Scriptures, and Rev. Dr. D.E. Maxson making brief remarks.
Rev. James Summerbell officiated at the grave.
