Jane's Father John Yates

Working from documents and information gathered by John Lunceford and Arthur Yates Jr in 1968, where deeds, personal interviews were conducted with family members who were still living that had known her, correspondence records, etc. stated that Jane "Jennie" or "Jenzie's Yates's Father was John Yates and her mother was Mary. This particular family migrated from Bedford County VA with the McCoy family. Because deeds cannot be found substantiating her Father's name we cannot assume he did not exist, he may have lived with children, thus, not owning land. Until it can be proven otherwise through accurate documentation, I hope her parentage will be left as it is.
