When Alice May Davey was born on May 8, 1896, in Pennsylvania, her father, Albert, was 30 and her mother, Dorothy, was 23. She married Claude Jamond Moore on August 11, 1915. She had four children by the time she was 27. She died on August 11, 1970, in Elmira, New York, at the age of 74.
I have no photo of Alice but I do have a photo of her son, Howard, who was a musician - trumpet - and whose grandson, Mike Moore, is an active drummer.
