Lawrence Kenealy's plane crash
Lawrence, ex Army pilot, crashed his brand new Globe Swift single-engine plane in the woods just after take-off. Bad fuel is suspected. He was hospitalized in the Potter County Memorial Hospital with a lacerated nose and in shock.

I learned of this only a few years ago. My Dad and his brother, Lawrence, were avid pilots before and after the war. And this event didn’t stop either of them Amazing he survived
