William "Sailor" Friedman, well known lightweight pugilist, was found dead ... on the outskirts of Chicago.

3. Enoch Maxson, 100 years old, one of the oldest residents of this city, died Saturday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ada Freeman, 120 Riverside avenue, after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Truxton, R.I. on January 15, 1822...
survived by his daughter and 2 sons:
- Anson Maxson of Ceres and
- Edwin E. Maxson of Horse Run, also
- 19 grandchildren and
- 35 great grandchildren.
Interment was made in the family plot in the Main Settlement cemetery.
