yes she lived on Proctor next to Emil and Janet Caffo. And across from the Caffo family was the Dorn family (Kevin, Robert, and Joann).

Chris Campbell Do you know if your family was any relation to Steve and Linda Walters from Tioga? My dad is a great friend of Steve Walters who now lives over near Covington, PA.

Andy Walters No. My Dad had a brother that lived in Tioga. His name was Garland.

The tall guy in the back right was Dennis Root, I believe. He and my sister knew each other.

Chris Campbell yeah my father David Darby put the names on the bottom of the photo and he didn't know all the names, so Dennis Root might be one of those ? in the series of names there.

Every time I look at this picture it makes me wish I could have grown up in this time period. Life was so much simpler (and I think better) then. Wouldn't it be great if today's kids could hang out at the local malt shop after school, drink a Coke, and listen to that "crazy" rock-n-roll music on the juke box? The world would be a better place!

Chris Campbell I agree, instead of tweeting each other and they are sitting right there next to each other or across a table during dinner time. Cell phones was the worst invention in my mind.

Darlene Fenescey-Leto Kids today cross the street while looking at their phone, oblivious to anything around them. Kinda sad.

Brett Linda Mallory Every time I play songs like "Johnny B Goode", "Jailhouse Rock", or "Great Balls of Fire", I picture a scene like this in the back of my mind. Where's that time traveling DeLorean when you need it.....

I remember my mom taking my sister Fran and me there when the other kids were in school. I especially remember the milkshakes we shared. So good.

Cool, yeah they still live in Covington, and Steph goes between there and Wellsboro. Once in a while when it is warmer weather I go pick her up and bring her over here for a day as a change of pace for her. She likes it we sit and eat lunch out on our back deck. She gets to choose lunch.

So you lived behind her? I think I saw you guys over there sometimes when I was helping John Darby with his gardening. He was my grandfather. John kept a picture of them in his wallet till the day he died

you are most welcome. I never seen her restaurant before this photo - my dad David had it and scanned it and gave it to me on a disk as family keepsake. I will be the keeper of the photos, slides etc when he passes.
