Wetzel, Christy photo album Sherman in Motorman uniform crop (2)
Sherman Wetzel. 21 October 1891 - 25 September 1918. His profession was listed as "Streetcar Motorman" on his 05 June 1917 draft registration card, Marion County, WVa [although a year earlier, 05 April 1916, he listed his occupation as "farmer" in applying to the C.E.F. (Canadian Expeditionary Force!!!- What's that about?)] as well as in the 1910 census, "farmer". That's the only way I've been able to identify this photo so far. Death is listed at "Camp Lee, Virginia". Did he die from war injuries? Training accident? no, from the Spanish flu- jcw 20141227
