KENTUCKY HATFIELDS who resided below the Hatfield Tunnel on the Kentucky side of Tug River (1908 and later), across from Hatfield Bottom were: front row from left, Albin and Caroline Varney Hatfield (grandson beside them); Rosa Scott Hatfield and Elbert Hatfield Sr., and Howard Hatfield; back row from left, Maggie Hatfield and husband, John E. Hatfield, and John Scott. Beside the casket of their dead sister are Dolly Hatfield (Bevins) and Selma Hatfield (Scott). All are deceased except Mrs. Bevins and Mrs. Scott.
