RECEIVED NEWS OF
BROTHER'S DEATH
Upper Fishing Creek, March 2, (1926)
Word was received by M.E. Baker, of the death of his brother, Luther S. Baker, who was a soldier at the soldiers' home in Nebraska. His death which occurred, February 18, 1926, leaves only two members of a family of six.
Mr. Baker was the son of Daniel and Abrigail(sic) Baker and grandson of Luther Strong, who built the first grist mill at Coudersport.
He is survived by two brothers,
- M.E. Baker (Moses) of Fishing Creek, and
- Edmund, of Stockton, Kansas.
