Going through some of my pictures and came across this article. Peter Chastain II was my great grandfather. Not sure if the paper spelled the name with an e.

Do you know the edition/date of the paper? From birthdates, I'm guessing 1935, two years before another George Brehmer (not Frances' husband but a relative) killed his wife and a suitor in Coudersport, then took his own life.

Tina Johnson Daughenbaugh This is a lovely picture and I am so glad you mentioned Frances’ given first name. That antiquated practice of referring to women as “Mrs. husband’s name” drives me nuts when I’m researching!
