JOAN ROSE CONABLE (1932 - 2015)
Obituary-
Joan rose Conable, 82, of Galeton, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, at Guthrie Troy Community Hospital, Troy.
Born Nov. 4, 1932, in Huron, Texas, she was a daughter of the late William T. and Mary J. (Heath) rose.
Joan held various jobs in accounting. She was a member of the Red Hats, Gaines Thimble Club, the Republican Women's Club and the Officer's Wives Club.

Surviving are
- a daughter, Candy Lee (Bruce C.) Withers of Keller, Texas;
- a brother, William T. "Bud" Rose of Clifton, Texas;
- Three sisters,
- Opal Rose Watts of Dallas Texas,
- Jean Rose Riggins, of Hurst Texas,
- Dixie Rose Wilson , Waco Texas;
- two grandsons,
Christopher Withers, of Fr. Worth, Texas,
Timothy Withers of Keller, Texas;
- and long time companion, Robert Froelich, of Galeton.

In addition to her parents, Joan was predeceased by her husband,
- Frederick E. Conable
- a son, Charles L. Conable, and
- a daughter, Rosanne J. Conable.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Collins Chapel, Galeton.
