John Patterson Vance Family

Man in center is John Patterson Vance. Man on right is Eli Nelson Vance. I don't know for sure who the man on the left is. It could be John Clyde Vance. The man on the left is not Roscoe Clyde Vance. The picture was taken in about 1902 at Elk Creek. Roscoe Clyde Vance would have been about 4 years old at the time this picture was taken. It is possible that the small kid between John Patterson Vance and Eli Vance is Roscoe Clyde Vance.

Just now sleuthing out my Vance ancestor through DNA triangulation. This is certainly the right family group though we connect further back. Thanks for sharing this great photograph!
