Joel Zalar My grandfather mentioned in the book “Whining Saws and Squealing Flanges” under a section of Gaffney Eood Products, Walton. that he loaded coal into boxcars.
I also have a booklet, “Souvenir of our School”, from Walton School No. 6, Ulysses Township 1921-1922 with all the students listed. Upper room is Frank Zalor and Joe Zalor. (Misspelled)
16 other students listed. The teacher was Eva Goery. Somewhere is remember my dad talking about a Miss Littlefield. He also lived in Galeton. All over Potter as the lumber industry moved.
