BIG LOSS TO COUDERSPORT
Buffalo & Susquehanna Railroad to Build to Sweden Valley.

On account of misunderstanding or failure to make reasonable terms with the C.&P.A. railroad for brinigng the timber from the lands at Sweden Valley, an interest has been sold in these lands to Olean men and arrangements are already being made with the B.&S. railroad to extend their lines from the Nelson farm to Sweden Valley, to take the timber from Dry Run and also any timber that can be bought there. This is a big loss to Coudersport as arrangements wree practically made for a chemical plant near here and the loss to the mills here of about fifteen million feet of logs to manufacture.
