That IS Orin Webb and not Timothy Webb. He was my 3x great grandfather

My great grandmother was Agnes Webb, she was a daughter of Perry Webb and Maggie Sullivan Webb and lived in Trout Brook. Orin was her grandfather.

remote- Orin was the uncle of my 3rd great aunt. It was your portrait of Orin that I already have in my ancestry tree. Since I'm so vested in the DNA part of genealogy, I've redoubled efforts to identify even distant relatives, especially in Potter County, since there are so many (Snyder, Dingman, Barr, Edwards, Weimer, Weiderich, Williams, ...).

great, makes sense, thank you. My only reference to Perry was in the 1860 census, a 3 year old living with George and Catherine Weiderich.
