OLD TERRY TUCKER THE LOGGER
Not really. In this 1976 photo, Terry was simply volunteering during one of events at the Pennsylvania Lumber Museum, located between Coudersport and Galeton. I suppose you could say lumbering was in his genetics or maybe agriculture as we know from our family history.
Actually Colesburg, PA native, Terry Wayne Tucker took a more academic path. He holds a PhD in agricultural, extension, and adult education from Cornell University; an MEd in agricultural education from Pennsylvania State University, and a BA in economics from the university of Pennsylvania
He has held the position as the dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at Alfred State College, Alfred, NY. Terry also initiated and managed several academic, outreach, and international development programs for places such as Bolivia, Haiti, Honduras, India, Mexico, El Salvador and the Philippines. Terry’s wife, Karen, says: “He is not retired, though he left Alfred in 2013 and returned to Cornell University where he is teaching in the Global Development graduate program and directing the International Agriculture and Rural Development undergraduate program. He tells me that he plans to retire sometime between next week and 10 years from now.”
Terry is the oldest child of Edgar Emil Tucker and Dorla Dean Kelligan, grandson of Anna Katherine Mosch and Edgar Harvey Tucker, great grandson of Emil Mosch and Wilhelmina Kortz, great great grandson of Karl Mosch and Caroline Scheider, Jacob Kortz and Katherine Pflugfelder

Grandpa Otto Mosch donated several items to the Lumber Museum. I remember him talking about a large two man saw that is on display.
