Coudersport friends of Dr. Ruth Popp Mosch were shocked last Thursday when announcement was made that she was dead. The end came suddenly even though she had been ill much of the time for two...
... years. Coroner Robert McLaughlin ascribed death to morphine poisoning by injection.
Dr. Mosch was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Popp of State College, Pa. She was born at Houtzdale, Pa, Oct. 2, 1922.
She was graduated from State College High School in 1940, took pre-medical education at Penn State, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Medicine in march of 1946. She completed internship in Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh in July 1947. She began practice in Coudersport in December, 1947, but dropped active practice after the birth of a baby. (Henry)
She was a member of the Prsbyterian Church, the staff of the Potter County Memorial Hospital, Potter County Medical Society, Pennsylvania Medical Society, American Medical Association, Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, Todd Missionary Society and the Junior Hospital Auxiliary.
Deceased was married to Dr. George Mosch, Mar. 13, 1943, at State College. He survives with a daughter, Barbara Ellen Mosch. Other survivors are her parents and two sister:

- Mrs. Kathryn Lehman, State College.
