Mosch-Kortz Family Group Paul Lynn Gardner April 15 at 3:49pm 2016 · Duncansville, PA Another excert from Marjery Mosch: "Something should be said here concerning the Schietzen Club (Shooting Club) at Germania. It was there that the Mosch Boys gathered most of the trophies in the competitive shooting and bowling events, and where the social life of the community centered. The sports enjoyed there are still dominant factors in our family life. Never were there such hunters or fishermen as the Mosch line produced. It is common knowledge that the largest deer and the longest trout were caught and shot by them. Their annual Schietzen Verein has become a tradition in this Northern Pennsylvania region."
